A week or so ago in church, one of the men came up to me and casually said that he had prayed for me 732 times last year! He had made a commitment to pray for the pastors morning and evening on every day of the year. I was stunned, humbled, extremely grateful and encouraged him that there were many times during the year-especially on mission trips and on the road with Third Day-when I really felt carried by the faithful prayers of folk back home.
Eph. 1:16 I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,
Eph. 6:19 And pray for me, too..
Phil. 1:4 I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy
Phil. 1:19 For I know that as you pray for me and as the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will all turn out for my deliverance.
Col. 1:3 We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Col. 4:3 Don’t forget to pray for us, too.
1Th. 1:2 We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.
1Th. 5:25 Dear brothers and sisters, pray for us.
2Th. 3:1 Finally, dear brothers and sisters, I ask you to pray for us.
The title of this post is a verse from Hebrews in case you think I'm getting carried away.
