Over the next couple of weeks I'll begin to read through and meditate over the verses that you have sent it, plus the ones I'd already been led to, in order to put a list together to use on the MUSIC BUILDS tour. I'll be on the road for about 75% of the tour and will look forward to catching up with y'all.

THANKS FOR THE VERSES.

A big thank-you to everyone who has suggested a favorite Bible verse for me to look at. I'll certainly use some of these in our devotions on the Music Builds tour. As always, I'll be posting a summary of the devotions on this blog so you'll be able to see if we studied your verse. I'll be praying for a personal revelation from the Lord about each verse that I use- a book I've been reading recently reminded me that we can't rely completely on an overflow of someone else's oil. Read the story of Elisha and the widow in 2 Kings 4 if you don't know what I mean.
Incidently, I'm really enjoying the radio interviews about "Lessons from the Road". So far I've been interviewed on Christian stations in Sydney(Australia), Winston-Salem, Green Bay, St. Louis, Duluth, Freeport, Branson, Las Vegas, Montgomery, Daytona Beach, Fayetteville, with a stack more in the diary. Best opening line so far? "Welcome James Niggle from England, hello James" Oh well!
It's not too late to send me your favorite verse- anything that sends me deeper into the Bible will be gratefully received.

CHAPTER AND VERSE.

It's about the time when I begin to seek the Lord for wisdom about our next series of tour devotions. Last week I emailed the guys in the band and suggested that we might all share our favorite Bible verses. Each guy would introduce the verse and then I'd go a little deeper if necessary. I've been searching scripture for my faves, and haven't exactly been inundated with replies by the guys, but I'm sure they are digging deep! It made me think that this might be a cool way for fans to get involved, so if you have a verse that jumps out at you why not email it to me or put it as a reply to this post.... you never know, we might get to study it on the road.

2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right.
