Alright ya'll, this is the last post before we head home. We have had an amazing time here and will take memories with us that will last forever. We are ready to get back and plug into life in Georgia again. Our adventures here make the world seem a lot smaller than it was before. People are people, and we ALL need a Savior to free us. Maybe this step is a first to many more adventures in China. We pray that we have been a blessing to these people and hope that the Spirit of God has shown through us in a way that they would see Him and His amazing love. Thank you for your support and prayers on this journey. We will keep you updated on how our little Canaan progresses in the future. Thanks also for your kind words and comments to encourage us along the way. They mean more than we could ever express. Peace and Blessings!
Praying safe and trouble free travels over you all.

I just wanted you to know what a great blessing it was for me to read your blog today. I don't know you but I was so happy to stumble upon your blog. My husband and I have three sons and we are on a waiting list to adopt a daughter from Guatemala. We have made it to #13 and are hoping to get our referral soon (Sept-Oct.) It is so encouraging to see a little girl finally come home to her forever family. We have been on the waiting list since January and once we have our referral it will take approx. 7+ months until we can bring her home. I so encourage you to keep blogging your experience. One journey has just been completed and now a whole new one has begun. Praise God with this one you can hold her in your arms anytime you want. Here is our blog address if you want to read our story: www.youbelong.net/thelouxs (password: frizzle)
Blessings to each of you and praising God for the miracle that He has just done in your family!
In His Love,
Amy

I don't mind, if I get the chance, I tell them our wonderful adoption is and how much we LOVED China! We can't wait to start more paperwork! Well....that we going a little far, but we are definately going back! Congratulations!

Hey Brad - What a wonderful blessing to add yet another beautiful little girl to the Avery family! We are so happy for you and the whole family. My husband jokes about him being the only male in the house (he even says the fish are girls), but I don't think he would change it for the world! Little girls are so precious! Enjoy your new little one! God Bless you all! Hope to see you in concert again soon! It's been way too long for our family. Our youngest still calls the group "God Day" at times... she says you help her see God so you should be called that (she is 5!) and she knows every one of your names and what your "job" is in the band and is always asking when you will be coming to Portland again, or if we can travel to see you someplace. She is our little "Pint Sized Gomer"
